The Result of Training Your Spirit with the Word of God (Answered Prayers)

Do not think for a moment the apparent delays to answered prayers is in itself an answer. (wait awhile) For “Hope deferred maketh dry the bones.” Arthritis, rheumatism and neuralgia results from deferred hope. The timing of God is always perfect “In due time Christ was born.” When is the due time of my prayer request? What are the factors for receiving answers?

These questions receive ready answers in the Word of God. First, pray the will of God. What does that mean? Find the Scriptures that fit the desire of your prayer–that is the will of God. In finding the promise of God that describes the answer to your need. It also assures you of the will of God. All the promises of God in Christ Jesus are yes and amen. No one has a right to pray a prayer contrary to the will of God. Balaam the prophet found that out to his dismay.

Second, release your faith when you pray. Matthew 11: Therefore I say to you, whatsoever things you desire, when you pray, believe that you receive them and you shall have them.” It is the height of foolishness to pray for something you desire but do not believe you will receive. Why bother? That is an exercise in futility. It is insulting to God.12

Third, the next verse set the protocol for answered prayer. “When you stand praying, forgive. If you have anything against anyone that your Father also, who is in heaven, may forgive you, your trespasses.” This verse has been misinterpreted by many. They have taken the position that once you have been forgiven you can be then be unforgiven and as result lose your salvation. Let us look carefully at this verse to arrive at its true meaning.

Let me be clear in stating God does not give forgiveness and then take it back as the result of our subsequent actions. What is it that God cannot forgive but unforgiveness itself! I can never get past the unforgiveness at this point of my life till I return and forgive.

All answered prayer stop here at the point of my lack of forgiveness. All spiritual development stops at that place; all restoration stops at the moment I enter Gods prerogative of revenge. More than that, I am given into the hand of the tormentor, Satan and his demonic instruments of torment.

All healing and health, physical, emotional and spiritual are bereft from me till forgiveness is given. So if your prayers are not quickly answered check to see if lack of forgiveness is the reason for the blockage. The question is so vital the Father will not leave you without a quick answer.

Fourth, make warfare against the devil’s forces for here is where the problem lies not with God. God is not trying to withhold blessings from you. Satan is! Attack him with spiritual prayer and put the force of faith to work against him. Satan would keep every prayer from being answered to destroy your will to prayer and to receive from God.

The gifts that accompany your calling are both powerful exhibits of the calling and placing of you; but also verifications of my intentions and purposes of those with whom I have placed around about you. This core group is about to launch a bodacious plan that will disrupt the evil communications of witchcraft and false identities within the Church. It will happen so quickly the enemy will be stunned by the sudden attack and say what happened?

While he is so stunned, go quickly into his camp and completely destroy his icons and representations, lay bare his plans for full disclosure and exposure. Awaken the Church with loud trumpet blasts that call the Church to awaken to the Kairos time. They will hear the message clearly as a 911 emergency call and the response will be quick and devastating to the enemy. If some ask how can these things be?

I will show My power in manifesting the 9 empowerments of 1 Corinthian 12. No longer will some sit back and ask, “Where are the manifestations of the Spirit?” They will be exhibited for all to see. You will demonstrate them in full public view. The videotapes of Covenant Church will be seen worldwide as the 9 gifts are openly recorded drawing even more to see and ask how can we do these same things.

The miracles of God’s divine presence will draw thousands who will seek instruction and introduction to such power gifts. They will see with their own eyes and open hearts the indisputable proof of My presence and you will be there to reveal the “how to”.

These are the days of your glory, no longer hidden in obscurity, no longer ignored as unimportant. So stand boldly and declare the truths you know and give demonstration of my gifts to empower the Church. You will not be left with unsubstantiated claims but visible results. The honey dripping from your hands will be licked by hungry souls who for so long sought such proofs.”
